Healthy Living – My Story
Hi, I’m Bridget, thank you for stopping by. I really appreciate your interest in me and my mission of living a healthy lifestyle and inspiring others to do the same.
As a pharmacist, working with people every day I am amazed by the overwhelming reliance on modern medicine to ‘fix’ problems when in reality it’s not that simple and can often disappoint. Chronic conditions are almost solely treated with medication but why should it stop there? Lifestyle choices play an even bigger role in preventing and correcting these conditions, the majority of which are directly attributed to one’s diet.
Every Time You Eat Or Drink You Are Either Feeding or Fighting Disease
Unlike medication that costs money and has side-effects, changing how one eats and keeps fit doesn’t have to cost a thing and will have the biggest positive impact on health. This may sound like a bold statement but I’ve been witness to it in my profession. It’s never too late to introduce healthy choices into your life. You have nothing to lose, except maybe a few pounds 😉. Let’s face it if you’re reading this you’re already interested in exploring these possibilities.

Your life is a series of choices, and every choice you make makes you.
You have the power to decide your own health and well being. What you eat or drink, how many hours of sleep you get, how you raise your heart rate are factors playing a huge role in shaping who you are and how you will prosper. Start choosing now and choose well. It’s never too late to turn things around and become a healthier and better version of oneself. So Why the Blog?…
My blog is filled with useful tips for a more natural and healthy approach to living. I aim to help others create a better version of themselves, as well as to overcome or prevent long term illness. I love to inspire and empower others to get and stay healthy.
I am constantly researching and finding the newest health trends, often testing them out on myself. Most of my posts are from personal health experiences or challenges I’ve faced, or from others I’ve encountered in my profession. I have a huge obsession with fitness and training but believe balance is crucial, hence my routine of weight training, running and practicing yoga is often balanced out with sitting on the couch eating ice-cream. I try incorporate a bit of everything for a healthy living. So go make a cup of creamy coconut-infused almond milk cappuccino, relax and enjoy the posts.
